Runs where you’ll want to stop

The best views at Breck are above treeline, and the good news is that you don't need to be an expert to get there. The Peak 6 blues are wide open and as scenic as anything on the mountain. If you can ski steeper terrain, the high runs off Imperial and the T-Bar are even better.

Clear mornings are best. Stop at the side of the run, not in the middle of it.

Seven scenic runs

Reverie

Above treeline, on a blue.

The easiest way to ski a big view. It comes down the open bowl of Peak 6 from the top of Kensho, with the Tenmile Range all around you.

Elysian Fields

More of the Peak 6 bowl.

Another open blue from the top of Kensho. Nothing between you and the view.

Upper 4 O’Clock

The start of the run home.

Starting high near Vista Haus, it gives you a look across Summit County before you drop into the trees.

White Crown

Another high black.

Next to Ptarmigan, and just as exposed. Save it for good visibility.

Quick tip

Ski & snowboard rental

Book online before you arrive and pick your gear up in town the evening before. The morning rush at the base shops can eat your first hour, and booking ahead can be cheaper.

Quick tip

Lift tickets & the Epic Pass

Breck is on the Epic Pass. Buying a ticket at the window on the day is the most expensive way up the hill, so buy ahead online or look at an Epic Day Pass if you're here for a few days.

The Friday snow email

One short email a week in season: what fell, what's open, and where to ride this weekend.
