Breck’s Epic Pass neighbour
Keystone is another Vail Resorts mountain on the Epic Pass, on the far side of Lake Dillon from Breck. It's the largest ski area in Summit County, with more than 3,000 acres across three peaks: Dercum Mountain, North Peak and the Outback. It opened for 2026–27 on October 30, one of the earliest openings in North America.
If you've got an Epic Pass and a week in Breck, a day at Keystone is an easy change of scenery. It also runs night skiing, which Breck doesn't.

Getting on the hill
River Run Gondola
Free parking at the base.
Parking at the River Run Gondola lot and Mountain House is free, and there are free gear wagons in the River Run lot to haul skis and kids.

Getting there
By car or bus
Via Frisco and Dillon.
Drive north to Frisco and round the lake, or take the free Summit Stage buses.
