About this lift

The Snowflake

Snowflake is a double chair that starts in the Snowflake neighbourhood on the north side of town and climbs to lower Peak 8. It's mostly used by people staying nearby, as a way onto the mountain without a bus or the gondola.

There's a mid-load station partway up: you can get on there, but you can't get off. At the end of the day, Lower 4 O'Clock brings you back down past it.

Tips

  • If you’re staying in the Snowflake area, this is your shortcut to the slopes.
  • The mid-load station is load only. Don’t plan on getting off there.
Quick tip

Ski & snowboard rental

Book online before you arrive and pick your gear up in town the evening before. The morning rush at the base shops can eat your first hour, and booking ahead can be cheaper.

Quick tip

Lift tickets & the Epic Pass

Breck is on the Epic Pass. Buying a ticket at the window on the day is the most expensive way up the hill, so buy ahead online or look at an Epic Day Pass if you're here for a few days.
