Breckenridge Peak 9 webcam
This live stream looks across a wide, open run on Peak 9 with the treeline behind it. Peak 9 is where a lot of people start their day: the Quicksilver SuperChair goes up from the base by town, and the upper mountain is mostly easy, wide blues.
Because it's a groomed, lower-angle slope, it's a good check on what the snow surface looks like on the cruising terrain most visitors ski.

What this webcam can tell you
- Snow cover. Early in the season you can see whether the run is fully covered or still patchy.
- Visibility. If the trees behind the run disappear into cloud, expect flat light on the open slopes.
- How busy it is. Lots of skiers on the run usually means busy lifts nearby too.
How to use it
Use this cam with the Peak 8 webcam. If Peak 8's high terrain is in cloud but Peak 9 looks clear, start on the Peak 9 blues and head higher when it lifts.
