Breck in February
February is peak season for good reason. The base is deep, the whole mountain is usually open, including the hike-to terrain, and the days are getting longer.
The catch is that everyone knows it. Weekends are busy, and Presidents' Day weekend is one of the busiest of the year.

Crowds

Midweek is fine. Weekends are busy, and Presidents' Day weekend brings holiday-level crowds. If you're here then, see our lifts to avoid.
Events
On show until February 2.
If you arrive at the very start of the month, you can still catch the snow sculptures on the Riverwalk.
Our tip
Imperial, Peak 6 and the bowls.
February is the month to ski the high terrain. Save a clear, calm day for the bowls or the view runs.
