Most difficult

Double black runs on Peak 8

Breck's highest and most serious terrain is here. The Imperial SuperChair reaches 12,840 feet, with Imperial Bowl, Zoot Chute and 9 Lives below it and the Lake Chutes and Snow White rated extreme terrain (EX).

Horseshoe Bowl and Cucumber Bowl, off the T-Bar, are a step down in commitment but still steep and exposed. Lower on the mountain, Contest Bowl, Tiger and Mach 1 give you double-black pitches without the altitude.

Quick tip

Ski & snowboard rental

Book online before you arrive and pick your gear up in town the evening before. The morning rush at the base shops can eat your first hour, and booking ahead can be cheaper.

Quick tip

Lift tickets & the Epic Pass

Breck is on the Epic Pass. Buying a ticket at the window on the day is the most expensive way up the hill, so buy ahead online or look at an Epic Day Pass if you're here for a few days.
