Frisco
Main Street of the Rockies
Frisco sits at the junction of I-70 and Highway 9, about 15 minutes north of Breck, on the shore of Lake Dillon. It calls itself the Main Street of the Rockies, and its Main Street is a relaxed, cheaper alternative to Breck's for dinner.
It's also the transport hub of Summit County. If you're coming by bus or shuttle, there's a good chance you'll pass through the Frisco Transfer Center.

Learn to ski
The beginner hill
Opens December 4, 2026.
The Adventure Park also has a beginner ski and snowboard hill, but no rentals, so bring your own gear or rent in town.
Cross-country
Frisco Nordic Center
Opens November 26, 2026.
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, with rentals, at 616 Recreation Way.
Transport
Frisco Transfer Center
1010 Meadow Drive.
Between Safeway and Whole Foods. The free Summit Stage, Bustang and many airport shuttles stop here. Handy for a bigger grocery shop too.
Lake
Frisco Bay Marina
On Dillon Reservoir.
The marina is mainly a summer place, but the lake views are good all year.
