About this lift

The Horseshoe Bowl T-Bar

The Horseshoe Bowl T-Bar is a surface lift: you ride it standing up, pulled along by a bar behind you. It climbs 1,234 feet to the top of Horseshoe Bowl and opens up a big area of black and double-black terrain above treeline.

Horseshoe Bowl and Cucumber Bowl are directly below it. Further across, Ptarmigan and White Crown head toward Peak 7, and gates lead to the Peak 7 alpine bowls.

Tips

  • If you’ve never ridden a T-bar: share it with one other person, keep your skis in the track and don’t sit down on the bar.
  • Snowboarders ride it one-footed, with the bar behind their front leg.
  • Pathfinder, from the top of the Rocky Mountain SuperChair, gets you to the bottom of it.
Quick tip

Ski & snowboard rental

Book online before you arrive and pick your gear up in town the evening before. The morning rush at the base shops can eat your first hour, and booking ahead can be cheaper.

Quick tip

Lift tickets & the Epic Pass

Breck is on the Epic Pass. Buying a ticket at the window on the day is the most expensive way up the hill, so buy ahead online or look at an Epic Day Pass if you're here for a few days.
