Parking

Where to park, and what it costs

Parking at Breck is paid near the lifts and free a bus ride away. The resort lots are run by Breck Park, and they fill up early at weekends. Spaces are first come, first served, and having an Epic Pass doesn't guarantee you one.

If you're staying in town, leave the car where it is. The Free Ride buses and the gondola are free and run all day.

Our tip: The bus ride is short, and it saves you $29 a day at peak rates.

Ice Rink lot

Drop-off and pick-up with free buses.

The Ice Rink, at 189 Boreas Pass Road, is a drop-off point with free buses to Peak 9 and the gondola.

Short-stay spots

For dropping the family off.

There are 15 and 20-minute zones at the South Gondola lot and a drop-off area at Peak 9 by Beaver Run.

Avoid a tow

The rules

No parking 2am to 6am

In every paid lot and on town streets.

Cars left in the paid lots or on town streets between 2am and 6am can be towed. The resort lots don't allow overnight parking at all.

Park first, then pay

And reserve if you can.

Find a space before you pay. Payment for a space you don't get isn't refunded. Pay with the TapNPark app (a 35-cent fee) or at the kiosks. Reserve 'N Ski is the only way to book ahead, for the lots that take reservations.

Get there before 8am

On busy days.

On weekends and holidays, the resort suggests arriving before 8am or booking ahead. Overflow lots with free shuttles open when the main lots fill. Signboards on Highway 9 show which lots are full.

Quick tip

Ski & snowboard rental

Book online before you arrive and pick your gear up in town the evening before. The morning rush at the base shops can eat your first hour, and booking ahead can be cheaper.

Quick tip

Lift tickets & the Epic Pass

Breck is on the Epic Pass. Buying a ticket at the window on the day is the most expensive way up the hill, so buy ahead online or look at an Epic Day Pass if you're here for a few days.
