Riverwalk Center
The Riverwalk Center, at 150 West Adams Avenue, is Breck's main concert and event venue, set beside the Blue River a block from Main Street. In summer it's best known for classical music. In winter, the big event happens right next to it, when the snow sculptures go up in late January.

The snow sculptures are carved right at the Riverwalk Center. Sculpting runs January 23 to 27, with viewing until February 2. Free, and lit up at night. There's no parking at the site, so take the bus.
Our tip: Go after dark, when the sculptures are lit.
Music
From orchestras to rock bands.
The National Repertory Orchestra has been based here since the building opened, and the center hosts touring musicians, bands, film festivals and community events.
History
Opened in 1993.
It opened in 1993 on the site of an earlier tent used for a summer chamber music festival, with seats for 750. A tent roof went up every spring and came down every fall until a permanent roof and walls were added for the 2008 season.

The center sits beside the Blue River, a block from Main Street, and the Arts District is a short walk away.

Book online before you arrive and pick your gear up in town the evening before. The morning rush at the base shops can eat your first hour, and booking ahead can be cheaper.
Breck is on the Epic Pass. Buying a ticket at the window on the day is the most expensive way up the hill, so buy ahead online or look at an Epic Day Pass if you're here for a few days.
